1. What services does High Definition Studios offer?
We offer fully-equipped spaces for photography, videography, podcast recording, and music production, plus a lounge area for creative collaboration.

2. Where are you located?
We’re based in Penn Quarter, Washington, D.C., conveniently accessible for creators, entrepreneurs, and artists in the DMV area.

3. What are your hours of operation?
The studio is open by appointment only, typically between 10 AM – 10 PM, though after-hours bookings are available on request.

4. How do I book a session?

5. Do you offer memberships or packages?
Yes! We have monthly membership options for our photo, podcast, and music production studios—great for frequent creators looking to save. Please see our Memberships page for more details.

6. What’s included in the photo studio rental?
Rental includes backdrops, Amaran video lights, Godox flashes, and access to light stands and modifiers. Bring your camera—or rent one from us.

7. Can I bring my own gear?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to bring your own lights, cameras, or props. Just give us a heads-up if you need extra setup time.

8. Do you provide photographers or videographers?
Yes, we can recommend or pair you with in-house shooters based on your project. Additional fees apply.

9. Are there props or furniture available for use?
Yes—we have a rotating collection of chairs, stools, and props. The Green Room also doubles as a styled shooting space.

10. Can I use fog machines or confetti?
Please no glitter or fog machines without prior approval—they trip alarms and are a nightmare to clean!

🎙️ PODCAST STUDIO

 

11. What equipment comes with the podcast studio?
Our podcast studio features Rodecaster Pro II, ATEM ISO PRO, AKG microphones, and Canon R100 cameras mounted for video recording. It’s a plug-and-play dream setup.

12. How many people can record in the podcast room?
We recommend up to 4 speakers for optimal comfort and audio quality.

13. Can I stream live from the podcast studio?
Yes, the studio is stream-ready with proper routing through OBS or other streaming platforms.

14. Do I need an engineer to run the session?
If you're new to podcasting or want support, we offer in-house engineering for an additional fee.

🎚️ MUSIC PRODUCTION SUITE

 

15. What gear is in the music production suite?
It includes the Roland TR-8, Ableton Push 2, Arturia Keystep Pro, Elektron Model: Cycles, Maschine MK3, AKG C414, and more—plus JBL and KRK monitors.

16. Can I bring a producer or engineer with me?
Yes—our suite is built for collaboration. Just let us know who’s coming so we can accommodate.

17. Is the space sound-treated?
Yes, our music suite and podcast studio are professionally sound-treated for clarity and minimal reverb.

🛋️ AMENITIES & POLICIES

 

18. Is smoking allowed in the studio?
No tobacco products, but the lounge is 420-friendly. Smoking is not permitted in the main studio rooms.

19. Do you offer event or private rental buyouts?
Yes, we host private creative events, pop-ups, and listening parties. Reach out to discuss pricing and capacity.

20. What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Cancellations require 48 hours' notice for a full refund or credit. Less than 48 hours = 50% refund. No-shows = no refund.
